Bournemouth is accessible from any part of Great Britain and most of Europe. There is continuous motorway or dual carriageway from London and along the South Coast and the A34 provides good access from the Midlands.

CAR (From London)

From the A406 (North Curcular Rd) at Chiswick Roundabout take the 4th exit onto the A4 (signposted The West, Heathrow M4). Leave the M4 at junction 4b then join the M25 motorway (signposted Gatwick Airport) Leave the M25 at junction 12 then joing the M3 motorway (signposted Basingstoke, Southampton) At junction 13 keep in left-hand lane, then join the M27 motorway (signposted M27 West) Continue onto the A31. At Ashley Heath Roundabout take the 1st exit onto the A338 (signposted Bournemouth) COntinue forward onto the A338, entering Bournemouth. At St Pails Roundabout take the 1st exit onto St Pauls Rd (A35) (signposted Ring Road, Boscombe, Town Centre) At St Swithuns Roundabout take the 1st exit onto Christchurch Road - A35. Turn right onto \Derby Road. At Manor Road roundabout take the 1st exit onto Manor Road

COACH

National Express Coaches serves Bournemouth Travel Interchange, Boscombe and Westbourne. There are frequent (16 per day) departures from Bournemouth to London Victoria Coach Station. There are also direct services from Birmingham and the Midlands, the North West, Edinburgh and Glasgow in Scotland.

TRAINS

South West Trains operates a comprehensive service from London Waterloo to Bournemouth with a journey time of as little as 97 minutes. Virgin Trains serve destinations from the North with direct trains from the Midlands, Manchester and the Northwest, Yorkshire (Sheffield, Leeds, York), Newcastle, Edinburgh and Glasgow in Scotland.
